Tapatak Oz Exams are an amazing experience for all concerned – students, teachers and the examiner. We have a huge amount of content in our exams that the children are required to master and we believe in giving honest feedback that both applauds what is great, but also encourages development. We certainly believe our program develops technically strong tappers with a unique and creative technical and performance edge. But if our syllabus requirements are more demanding than your current syllabus and our marking structure different – then yes – your results may differ as you embark upon our tap program.

However as many of our dance schools have found, by following our detailed instruction and implementing suggestions from our free feedback at the end of our exam sessions – the tapping standard and JOY for tap soon turns around and a huge leap forward may be made. As with anything in life – you get out what you put in. So if you want to change the tap culture and tap standard in your school – implementing a more challenging syllabus is certainly a good place to start.

The teachers we attract genuinely love tap – they have a real passion for tap and rhythm – and want to pass it on. There are certainly many other options for tap education out there, so we recommend our program to dance schools that:

C – dance schools that like to be creative, edgy and constantly in step with the fluid nature of tap today

Do you have to do exams to buy this program?

No – not at all. Examinations are an optional benefit that you can add to your tapping culture. It motivates both teachers and students to do their very best and gives students a true sense of accomplishment each year. But many schools, simply buy the program and use it “ in house” without participating in exams. This gives them a structure of progressions through which the students can move each year. Yes you can. At Tapatak Oz we believe that people gather their dance skills in many different ways, with some people holding “official qualifications” and others gaining their skills through a lifetime of experience. Some of our clients are professional performers who also teach, some have tapped all their life, some are less experienced in tap and looking to broaden their knowledge and skill set and some are amazing tap teachers with years of experience who just want something new and fresh. Whatever your background, you are welcome to join our happy band of tappers and draws from Christine’s wealth of experience in the classroom. Our programme is available to all with no ongoing fees or charges.

Do you offer teacher accreditation?

Yes we do – however we do not require teachers who use our programme to hold this qualification to teach our program – rather it is an added qualification they can undertake should they choose. Our Tapatak Oz teaching qualification requires the candidate to sit an exam to show their competence in teaching the work in those levels. What technology do I need to download the Tapatak Oz syllabus?

You will need a web browser and an internet connection to download the syllabus. Once you make a purchase you will be directed to a window which allows you to download the whole syllabus or specific parts. Remember the syllabus has alot of content so it may take some time to download everything. Also make sure you have enough data on your internet plan to download everything.

We have asked a number of our friends and family to trial downloading all these files and they all said it was super easy. Even those who we consider technologically challenged ha ha ah. So if that is you – do not fear! It is super easy. Just click on the link you will be sent – and follow along. Bravo – you have joined the new age too! Welcome.
