Why Enrol Your Child in Tap Dance Classes or Invest in Them Taking a Tap Exam?

    • I pay for those moments when my children become so tired they want to quit but don’t.
    • I pay for those days when my children come home from school and are “too tired” to go to their dancing class but they go anyway.
    • I pay for my children to learn to be disciplined, focused and dedicated.
    • I pay for my children to learn to take care of their body and dance gear.
    • I pay for my children to learn to work with others and to be good team mates, gracious in defeat and humble in success.
    • I pay for my children to learn to deal with disappointment, when they don’t get that placing they’d hoped for in an exam or competition, but still they go back week after week giving it their best shot.
    • I pay for my children to learn to make and accomplish goals.
    • I pay for my children to respect not only themselves, but other dancers, teachers, choreographers and adjudicators.
    • I pay for my children to be proud of small achievements, and to work towards long term goals.
    • I pay for the opportunity my children have and will have to make life-long friendships, create lifelong memories, to be as proud of their achievements as I am.
    • I pay for my children to learn how to walk into a room with confidence and hold themselves with strength and certainty.
    • I pay for my children to learn how to think on the spot and be creative.
    • I pay so that my children can be out in a dance class instead of in front of a screen…
    • I pay for my children to have the opportunity to express themselves freely and creatively.
    • I pay for my children to develop a love of the arts, that they can take with them into their lives, and enjoy for years to come.
    • I pay for my children to learn that it takes hours and hours, years and years of hard work and practice to create a professional and that success does not happen overnight.

In short – I pay for the opportunities that dance provides my children with, to develop attributes that will serve them well throughout their lives and give them the opportunity to truly express themselves and find joy in all they do. By having commitment and tenacity and creativity with them at all times. From what I have seen in all the children I have seen over 25 years in the classroom with hundreds if not thousands of students – so far I think it is a great investment!
